First Vacation

We returned home yesterday and we're still busy unpacking,

but I wanted to post some pictures of our wonderful getaway.

Mike had a work conference in Orlando, so Carter and I decided

to tag along and hit the Disney parks at the end of the week. 

My mom came with us, too.

I still have a bunch of Disney photos to go through,

but here are a few from the first part of our week,

 just relaxing and hanging out at the pool.

The oversized mirror in the hotel room was a big hit.

Carter loves admiring himself.

We bought an inflatable bathtub for the trip and Carter took right to it.

He also loved watching the "splash splash water" in the kids part of the pool.

He dipped his toes quite a few times, but we didn't get any pictures.

My sister Val lives a couple of hours away and she

 and my nephew Joshua came to visit us one of the days.

Carter loved spending time with his cousin.

 The biggest thing that happened at the beginning of the week

is that Carter learned how to crawl!

He figured it out the night after we arrived so our plans

to let him play on the bed were out the window.

A quick trip to the Super Wal-Mart for a sheet to

 put on the floor made for a much safer play area.

Overall, we had a great start to the week!
