I remember your post when your dog passed away. It was one of the first posts I read after you sent me the link to your blog. I've always felt bad that I didn't comment, but I didn't know what to say. You had a black lab mix, right? My parents have labs - great dogs, but I don't vacuum enough to handle the shedding. Anyway, late I know, but I'm very sorry for your loss. And I think a new puppy, or even better a rescue, would be a GREAT idea! Lia would love it! Not a replacement, just someone else to love.
